Oleg Ivanov, captain of Rubin, took part in the annual poll conducted by Championship, which is dedicated to the award for Best Young Player of the RPL. He identified five of the best young players of the season. In fifth place, Ivanov ranked Nikita Lobov (Rubin), followed by Kirill Glebov (CSKA) in fourth, Ilya Rozhkov (Rubin) in third, and Matvey Kislyak (CSKA) in second. The best young player, according to Ivanov, was Alexey Batrakov (Lokomotiv). At the end of each season, coaches and team captains participate in the traditional voting by Championship, where they select five of the best young footballers from RPL clubs. The main criterion for the award is that all players must be 21 years old or younger at the start of the season. Coaches and captains may nominate only three players from their own club. A player ranked first by a captain or coach receives six points, second gets four points, third earns three points, fourth receives two points, and fifth gets one point. The points accumulated by young players from coaches and captains are then totaled. Previous winners of the Championship award include Gamid Agalarov (2021/2022 season), Sergey Pinyaev (2022/2023 season), Konstantin Tyukavin (2023/2024 season), and Alexey Batrakov (2024/2025 season).
