Captain of Pari Nizhny Novgorod, Nikita Medvedev, participated in the annual poll by Championship, dedicated to the award for the best young player in the RPL. Medvedev listed five top young players from the season: Alex Sarfo (Pari Nizhny Novgorod) in fifth, Viktor Melёkhin (Rostov) in fourth, Vladislav Sauś (Spartak) in third, and Dmitry Pestryakov (Akron) in second. The best young player, according to Medvedev, is Alexey Batrakov (Lokomotiv). After the season ends, coaches and team captains participate in a traditional voting process where they name the five best young players from RPL clubs. The main criterion for the award is that all players must be 21 years old or younger at the start of the season. Coaches and captains can select only three players from their own club. A player named first receives six points, second gets four points, third earns three, fourth gets two, and fifth receives one. The points accumulated by the young players from the votes of coaches and captains are then totaled. Previous winners of the Championship award include Gamid Agalarov (2021/2022 season), Sergey Pinyayev (2022/2023 season), Konstantin Tyukavin (2023/2024 season), and Alexey Batrakov (2024/2025 season).
