CSKA Moscow head coach Dmitry Igdisamov reminisced about Lokomotiv midfielder Alexey Batrakov's performances during his youth career. Previously, Igdisamov managed youth teams for the army club. "Do you remember Batrakov well from his younger days?" he stated. "Of course. He was born in 2005, just like my graduating class. From that class, six players are currently in the RPL: Kislyak, Glebov, Bandikyan, Abdulkadirov at CSKA, Golobin at Orenburg, and Ryadno at Baltika. There’s Churilov in the FNL and some guys in the Second League. As for Batrakov, he was always a smart, skillful kid. It was tough to play against him—his intelligence was top-notch. There were always rumors that he would be released from Lokomotiv due to his size. I was always waiting for that. I thought if he was released, I would take him with open arms. But, unfortunately for me, there was a coach at Lokomotiv, Slava Vashkevich, who also saw potential in him (laughs)," Igdisamov mentioned to "Vechernaya Kazan."
