Ajax is exploring the possibility of signing Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid. Ceballos, 29, is allowed to leave the Spanish giants and has been on Ajax's radar for some time. However, securing his services is financially complex. With Míchel now officially appointed as Ajax's new head coach, the club is focusing on strengthening its squad, particularly seeking a controlling midfielder. Ceballos, whose contract with Real Madrid runs until 2027, is reportedly available for around six million euros according to Spanish media. The major hurdle remains the personal terms, as Ceballos earns significantly more in Madrid than Ajax can offer. Despite previous interest being hindered by these demands, Ajax is still keen to negotiate. Both parties will need to compromise significantly to reach an agreement.
